Technology does not have to be bland

One of the problems that I think people have with technology is that it is dull and boring.  Not everyone is passionate about databases, programming, gadgets, etc. but you don't have to send them to sleep with techno-talk and acronyms.  If I know that something is going to be boring to a majority of the people, I at least try to give them something else to be interested in.
